As a paralegal for the NCLP I want to empower individuals in vulnerable legal situation to exercise their rights and build their legal capacity.

I am a recent LLB Hons graduate from the University of York, currently pursuing my Legal Practice Course at the University of Law. My desire to study law emanated from my interest in its ability to create and acknowledge societal changes. With technological advancements and a shift towards green energy, the law has furthered better data protection laws and opened doors for a more sustainable future which I look forward to being part of. I am passionate in commercial law and open to other areas of law to further my skills.
Ewoenam Genevieve Atiase

I am Ewoenam Genevieve Atiase, a postgraduate Maritime Law (LLM) student at the University of Southampton. Curiosity may have been the most influencing factor for my decision to study law at an undergraduate level, which eventually caused me to develop a passion for the subject. I enjoyed learning about different aspects of law and its impact on society but what I found intriguing was how Ghana's Legal System has been hugely shaped by the English Legal System. My passion led to a heightened interest in legal disputes concerning issues related to shipping and trade and finally aroused an interest in maritime law. My interests and experience are in corporate and commercial practice, legal forensics and maritime law.

My name is Lilian Chinwe Eboh. A University of Greenwich Law graduate. I am currently working in Governance and Compliance with London Borough of Barking and Dagenham. My passion for access to justice for all, equality and fairness made me to go back to study law after my Masters degree in International Relations & Politics and a Degree in Modern Languages.
I am highly interested in Family, Adult Safeguarding and Immigration Law.

Hi! My name is Stacey Krasniqi, and I am currently taking my LLM Master of Law at the University of Law. I have always been passionate about human rights and was drawn to study law purely out of my desire to help disadvantaged groups in society. I am excited to be a part of this project as I strongly believe that access to legal assistance should be available to everyone. Alongside my studies I enjoy writing articles navigating and reporting the law on hate crime in the UK, as well as providing developments on information about support available for victims and potential victims. I have keen interests in immigration law, human rights law and employment law. My aspiration after completing my master’s degree is to become a paralegal and I am certain that this experience will benefit me immensely in my journey.
Krishney Gosai

Hello! My name is Krishney Gosai and I am a final year LLB Law undergraduate at the University of Southampton. My decision to study Law at University was initiated by my willingness to question and challenge legal conventions that are deeply rooted within society, in order to gain an understanding of how they operate to form the foundations of fairness and justice. Studying Law at GCSE provided me with a valuable introduction to the English legal system and I gained an awareness of the mechanics of legality through examining cases and applying the legal rule to problem questions. During my work experience at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer, I work shadowed a Lawyer who specialised in Dispute Resolution, where I became familiar with the concepts of Corporate and Commercial Law, and learnt the value of reaching a settlement where each parties' needs are considered and met. The areas I am passionate about are Company Law, Family Law and Intellectual Property Law. My future aspirations include qualifying as a solicitor and studying Law at University has allowed me to become an independent thinking individual with a strong understanding of the purpose and implications of the principles that govern our legal system.
Nadeen Tayfour

I am currently a second year Law undergraduate at Manchester Metropolitan University. My interest in Law was ignited following a project I undertook where I looked at whether the UK is turning a blind eye to the Human Rights Act. During this project, I realised how much the Law and lawyers have a positive impact on bringing justice and campaigning against human rights issues and so I decided to study Law at University to be able to also help individuals, communities and organisations. I have enjoyed studying Criminal Law as it covers some of the most serious issues in society and it is an important area of law to protect the greater good, ensure justice is achieved and help those in need. I also found studying International Law enjoyable as I was able to develop insights into the global legal system and its influence on both national and international policies. Studying law is now developing my interest and understanding still further and in a wide range of legal areas which together with relevant work experience and I am excited to learn much more about the Law.
Elena MacAulay-Smith

I’m Elena MacAulay-Smith, aged 23, based in Scotland (though my degree is English law). I graduated from Northumbria University in 2019 with a first-class LLB. I am commencing the LPC at ULaw in September this year. My areas of passion are Family Law (inc matrimonial, legal aid, childcare), Human Rights and Criminal Law. I am a strong believer that everyone deserves a fair trail, and I would love to be apart of a network that puts that into action.
Margot Potter

I am Margot Potter, a second year undergraduate reading law at the University of Warwick. Through various negotiation competitions, working pro-bono and undertaking case studies, I have grown to love the intricacies and humanness that lie within the law. I have particularly enjoyed working as a legal advisor for women at my local law clinic, from which stems my interest in Family Law and Litigation. I am also captivated by Intellectual Property and Corporate Law, and as an avid volleyball player, Sports Law.

My name is Cindy Zheng and I am doing my LLM in International Trade and Commercial Law at the Durham University. My main field of interest is in intellectual property law and technology, but I also have great experiences working in personal injury and criminal cases. I enjoy working with the community as it is always interesting to interact with people from all walks of lives, and since I firmly believe that one should retribute to the society for the privileges that one enjoys. As an aspiring solicitor, I am excited to take on the challenges ahead.

My name is Zoya Amir. I am a second-year Law (LLB) with criminology student. I am an international student at the University of Central Lancashire. I chose to study law because I believe all aspects of our lives are regulated by the law. I believe the law can be a tool of oppression and protection. The oppressed, most often are people who are unaware of the protection that the law has put in place for them. Coming from a family with a long history of litigation, I have seen first-hand how difficult it is for laypeople to access such knowledge and information. I chose to study law to be able to offer this service to as many people as I possibly can. If possible I would like to gain experience in as many areas of law as I can but my areas of interest are criminal law, family law, immigration law, private client law, and Civil litigation. My goal is to secure a training contract at a solicitors firm by the end of my SQE qualification.
