My name is Molly-Joe. I am a final year law student at Aston University. I am an individual who has always liked to help those around me. Law was a subject I was drawn to due to the ability to help individuals and businesses but also to the future changing of rules and regulations. It helps keep the law interesting. I am particularly interested in Company law and Criminal law however, I am open to other areas.

My name is Sam Gunnewicht, and I am currently studying MA Law at the University of Law in Bloomsbury. After completing my undergraduate degree in History at Sheffield and working in legal and financial translation for a year, I am hoping to take this experience into a career as a solicitor. I have a particular interest in EU and supranational law, especially in the areas of energy, power and climate. I would love the chance to work abroad in the future.

Hello! My name is Ajeye and I am a Law with Criminology graduate from the University of Sussex. My motivation to start a career in the legal industry is driven by my desire to help people. I am passionate about closing the justice gap and attaining equal access to justice. My main goal is to secure a training contract at a human rights law firm that represents the vulnerable and holds private and public bodies to account.

I consider the broad array of practice areas and the variety of work offered by a legal career to be an exciting and rewarding challenge. Largely, I am interested clinical negligence, employment and family law. 

Kira Luter

Hi! My name is Kira Luter, I am currently in my second year at Cardiff University, studying Law with Criminology. My interest in law began when I studied it at A Level, where I grew a particular interest in criminal law, I am also now interested in family law but won't have the chance to study it until next year. After my degree I hope to qualify as a solicitor, specialising in one of these areas, however I am also keen to explore other avenues. I chose to pursue a career in law because it's something that shapes our every day lives and I believe that everyone should have access to good legal advice.

Ahad Ahmad Khan

Hello, there. My name is Ahad, and I’m graduating with an LLM in International Law & Security from the University of Glasgow this winter. Having completed an undergraduate degree in Law and Arts (B.A. LL.B.) in 2020, I have been exposed to a plethora of legal facets, and have had the opportunity to intern at organisations focusing on areas like environmental law, cyber law, family law, medical and insurance law, and so on. It is human rights law, however, that has made me the most inspired and motivated throughout my time exploring the legal field, and as such I have written various articles on violations like child abuse, violence against women, and trafficking. With my passion towards learning about injustices and seeking solutions, I aim to perform my best here at the National Community Law Project CIC.

I am drawn to the legal field as I want to work on advancing human rights through law and policy. My areas of interest are in human rights law, immigration and asylum, and public international law.

Hi, my name is Cerys Davies, and I am currently a first year student at the University of Law. I chose to study law as I believe it is a subject with a lot of relevance in every day life, and I also believe it will give me the knowledge to help and support people with difficult legal cases. I find many aspects of law interesting, but I am mainly interested in criminal, family and employment law.

Sujeewa Hewamadduma

I am Sujeewa Hewamadduma and currently studying post graduate Law at Leeds Beckett University. Also I have an experience different areas of law such as Crime and Criminal Justice and Human Rights. My experiences at Citizen Advice, Red Cross and National Child Protection Authority Sri Lanka have convinced me to pursue my interest in law. I demonstrated and experienced my immigration OISC L1 abilities through these organisations by working with the clients cases. I wanted to learn and gain legal exposure, which will be an added advantage if we deal with the law in a Global Context. Also I am extremely happy to be able to share legal knowledge and work among public groups and organisations. The areas of law I am interested in are Criminal law, Immigration law and Family law.

Hi, I am Hajjanie, and I am currently studying Psychology at Brunel University London. I have always aspired to be a solicitor and to help people regardless of there background, gender or culture . Everyone has the right to seek legal advice. I am currently studying Psychology but I want to study Law for my Masters. Therefore, by doing this I will gain an insight with the legal world. The areas of law that interest me are family law, child law and human rights law. I would love to learn about other areas of law too.

Muhammad Sarmad Khan

My name is Muhammad Sarmad Khan and I have completed my Postgraduate Diploma Bar Training Course from the University of West of England at Bristol. My interest in law originates from the ability of a lawyer in being able to provide viable solutions to complex problems faced by different individuals. I have a passion of practicing criminal law in the future as I strongly believe that it is a vital sphere of law through which you can contribute positively to the society. My future aspirations are either to become a Senior Crown Prosecutor for the Crown Prosecution Service or to work as a Lead Prosecutor in the International Criminal Court. I strongly believe that this experience will benefit me considerably towards achieving that goal.

My name is Maria and I have successfully achieved a 2:1 degree in Law with Honours and I have started my LLM LPC journey in September 2021.

I am passionate about law in general, but deeply interested in criminal law. I have a strong belief that everyone deserves the right to be legally represented, as it is the cornerstone of our judicial system. While being bilingual, I believe I can make a difference.

I discovered my interest in law when I was assisting individuals with various legal and non-legal translations. I am looking forward using my language skills in my law career in our multicultural and multilingual society.

Zara Mahmood

Hi, my name is Zara Mahmood. I completed my undergraduate degree at Oxford Brookes University and my postgraduate degree at the University of Reading (LPC LLM). I was drawn to studying law from a young age with no interest for any other line of work and have since then continued to work towards that goal. I am extremely intrigued to areas such as family law, private client and employment law. I am also undertaking an internship in mental health which has allowed me to expand into other areas of law.

 I completed my undergraduate degree at San Francisco State University and obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies with an emphasis in Sociology. I'm also a recent Administration of Justice graduate and a current LLM student at the University of Law. I've had an enthusiasm for Law and criminal justice since secondary school. After ten years of working in the fitness industry, I'm transitioning into a career in the legal field. My interests include diversifying the legal field and increasing access to justice. I aim to use my legal, academic, and business experience for social change.

Hi, my name is Zara I’m a 2020 LLM graduate and current Cilex student studying the practice of family law, probate practice and client care skills with the law academy. I am particularly interested in public policy, family, criminal and media law. I chose to pursue a legal career to help support those who need it. Legalisation is always changing, and it is important that every member of the public has access to legal advice and information, to help guide them through the challenging situations that they may encounter in their lifetime.

My name is Farhan Khawaja. I am a motivated, ambitious and hardworking individual. I recently graduated from the University of Bristol with a BSc in Chemistry, where I developed my problem-solving, research, analytical and teamwork skills. I decided I wanted to pursue a career in law due to its intellectually stimulating and rigorous nature. Coming from a STEM background, I can bring a different perspective to solving problems. Prior to studying for my chemistry degree, I was intrigued by intellectual property and patent law. My interest in law has since developed to include various practices, such as environmental, international, and commercial law. I am also keen to explore other areas of law.

Hi! I'm Tiffany Carpenter. I have an International Studies BA from Seattle University, completed the GDL with a 2:1, and am currently doing the LPC at University of Law, London Bloomsbury. Growing up, I saw how many challenges my mum had to confront as a Cambodian Muslim refugee, and she inspired me to pursue law as a solicitor with a focus on human rights, immigration, and public law.

Hello, I am a recent graduate from the University of York Law School with an international background as I am both a French and British citizen. I studied law because I am interested in how it applies to and evolves with every aspect of society as well as because I want to help others solve their legal difficulties. During my degree, I was able to improve my leadership, problem solving and teamworking skills and worked at the University's Legal Clinic which furthered my determination to provide accessible legal advice. I aspire to work as a solicitor at an international law firm and, although I am particularly interested in Commercial Law, I am very keen to explore other practice areas.

Hi, my name is Oluchi Nwaukwa, and I graduated from Madonna University in Nigeria with an LLB (second class upper) in law. During my degree, I explored various areas of law including commercial law, international law, employment law etc. I have over 10 years post call experience as both a Solicitor and Barrister in Nigeria. My plan is to qualify as a Solicitor in the UK. I have always seen law as a tool to effect justice and reduce marginalization. I am passionate about making the law accessible to those who need it as well as educate those unaware of their legal rights and privileges. I have keen interest in Family/Child law, Human/Civil Rights, Immigration and Conveyancing law matters. However, I am open to volunteer and learn about any area of law.
